Madonna

I went to see Madonna last night!  It is the first time that she has played in our city.  The concert was sold out and there was a massive number of people!  She played a fabulous 2 hours!  It was well worth it.

Live with Passion

This is one of the sets we received from Convention.  It is one of my favourites!  I inked the flower in Pink Pirouette and then daubbed some riding Hood Red ink on it to create the two toned effect.

Sock Monkey

I love this guy!  I recall my sister making these when we were young, yet I don't have one that she made.  I did find a couple of these as ornaments at Macy's one year during the Christmas season.  There were 2 sizes and I knew I had to have both!

My Chinese Zodiac is a monkey.  They say that "Monkeys are smart, brave, active and competitive.  Monkeys also have good memories and are quick to respond.  They also have an easy time winning people's trust.  However, Monkeys are not very patient."  Hmm...  some of those traits may be true...

When I made this card, I first stamped the canvas in close to cocoa and then stamped the image in chocolate chip ink.  I did this twice and then cut out the hands and the feet.

Another Christmas Card

This is a simple card I created using Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red card stock and ink.  I also used the Ski Slope DS paper, the New Scallop Edge punch and Pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon.  I used the stamp from Heard from the Heart set.

Did you know that there is only 60 days and Christmas will be here???

Christmas Card Class; continued...

This is the last card that we are doing for our Christmas Card class coming up this weekend.

This card uses the New "In Colors"; Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red cardstock, Chocolate Chip ink, the Little Felt Flurries, Ski Slope DS Paper, Ribbon Originals (all from the Holiday Mini Catalogue) and one of the stamps from the Upcoming Country Living Holiday Collection Stampin' Kit Promotion which is available starting November 1st.

I hope you enjoyed these cards.  If you are interested in doing these cards, get a group together and I will come to you!

Christmas Card Class; continued...

This fourth card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers.

I wanted to use a different colour combination to make it brighter.  So I chose Real Red, Green Galore and Gable Green as well as the same ink colours.  I used the new scallop square punch and real red grosgrain ribbon.  The stamp sets used are Baroque Motifs and the level 1 Hostess set; Punches Three.

See you tomorrow for the last card.

Christmas Card Class; continued...

The third card that we will be doing uses most of the new "In Colors".  They are:  Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette.  I have also used the same colours of ink.  The stamp sets are Heard from the Heart and the level 3 Hostess Seasonal Icons stamp set from the Holiday Happenings Bundle.  I also used silver cord and ribbon to give the "hanging" effect of the ornaments.

Christmas Card Class; continued...

This second card that we will be doing uses Bravo Burgundy,  Brushed Gold and Shimmery White card stock.  Coordinating ink used is Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter.  I used the Big Shot Die-Cut machine to cut the Top Note and used the Snow Swirled stamp set for the images.  I also used gold brads and the horizontal slot punch and added gold ribbon to decorate the card.

See you tomorrow!

Christmas Card Class

This is 1 of 5 Christmas Cards that I will be doing for my Christmas Card class next weekend.

It uses Ruby Red and Chocolate Chip card stock, along with same ink.  I also used the Ski Slope DS paper (from the Holiday Mini Catalogue); old olive grosgrain ribbon, and the following stamp sets: Snow Swirled and Curly Label Punch Bunch.

Come back tomorrow to see the second card we will be doing.

Tis the Season...

Can you believe that there is only 66 DAYS till Christmas???  I can't believe it!  I had some left over Designer Paper Scraps while preparing for a class, so I made this card. I like how it turned out.  It reminds me a bit of Scrapbook Guru; Ali Edwards style how she likes to use square punches.

Big Shot Top Note Book

I love this Designer Series Paper!  It is my favourite from the Idea Book & Catalogue!

Big Shot Top Note Book

Here is another book I made using the Top Note Die and the Serif Essential Alphabet.

Big Shot Booklets

This is a book that I made with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine using the scallop circle bigz die.  I cut the scallop circle first with chip board and then cut the same circle with the Designer Series Paper and glued it on.  I cut card stock for pages inside.  I also cut out my inital using the Serif Essential die.  Then I took my Bind it All to bind it all together to make this cute book!
