Christmas 2011

WOW, I can't believe that it has been a whole year since I have posted...

I made a very special Christmas card for my Staff this year. Each year, I have to ensure that it is more "interactive" than the previous year. I think I did a good job creating this card for them. The front is a Waterfall card and when you pull it, the Snowman's face "melts"
Then when you open it, it is a 3D Snowman...

I will try and post a picture of the Ladies with their cards. I sure hope they like them as much as I enjoyed making these cards for them. I have the best staff and they mean the world to me!!

Candy Cane Christmas Advent Calendar

Since I had to send the previous Jolly Holiday Match Box Advent Calendar in to Stampin' Up! I wanted one for myself to fill. This is one I made with the DSP Candy Cane Christmas.

I am thinking of making one of these in the same colour of that "Little Blue Box" to give hints to my Husband to fill...

Jolly Holiday Match Box Advent Calendar

I made and sent this Jolly Holiday Match Box Advent Calendar for a Stampin' Up! Christmas Contest. This Advent Calendar is perfect for storing something special for the days leading up to Christmas. You could put chocolate in each of the drawers, or I suggested to my Husband that he could put jewelry in each of them for me to open!

Ornaments

I made these ornaments for my friends; Alison and Rhonda...  I used the Go Go Boots Sizzlet Alphabet to die cut the letter with white vinyl.  Then I stuffed red shred inside.  I used the Rope Twine along with the striped grosgrain for the bow.  Perfect for your Christmas tree!

Big Shot Ornaments

These 3D ornaments can be made using the Big Shot Circle 3D Ornament Die.  You can cut the circles with scrapbook paper or card stock.  When I was making this one, it took me a while to figure out how many circles to cut and put together to make one ornament.  But, once it is finished, it looks great to put on your Christmas tree!

Big Shot Santa

This Santa was made using the Pennant Bigz XL Die, and the Scallop Circle Die.  I cut the smaller circle scallops with a punch and the eyes and nose with different sizes of circle punches.  This Santa was shown to us at Convention as a tree decoration.  I made Santa so that if you turn if over, it is the same on both sides.

Pennant Die

I made this Noel Banner with the Pennant Die. There are two sizes of pennants on the Bigz XL Die.  You can do many things with this die such as making a Christmas tree, masks, flags and using the pennants for a card. The letters were cut out using the Serif Essential Die.
