Christmas 2011

WOW, I can't believe that it has been a whole year since I have posted...

I made a very special Christmas card for my Staff this year. Each year, I have to ensure that it is more "interactive" than the previous year. I think I did a good job creating this card for them. The front is a Waterfall card and when you pull it, the Snowman's face "melts"
Then when you open it, it is a 3D Snowman...

I will try and post a picture of the Ladies with their cards. I sure hope they like them as much as I enjoyed making these cards for them. I have the best staff and they mean the world to me!!

Christmas Card Class; continued...

This fourth card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers.

I wanted to use a different colour combination to make it brighter.  So I chose Real Red, Green Galore and Gable Green as well as the same ink colours.  I used the new scallop square punch and real red grosgrain ribbon.  The stamp sets used are Baroque Motifs and the level 1 Hostess set; Punches Three.

See you tomorrow for the last card.

Christmas Card Class; continued...

The third card that we will be doing uses most of the new "In Colors".  They are:  Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette.  I have also used the same colours of ink.  The stamp sets are Heard from the Heart and the level 3 Hostess Seasonal Icons stamp set from the Holiday Happenings Bundle.  I also used silver cord and ribbon to give the "hanging" effect of the ornaments.

Christmas Card Class; continued...

This second card that we will be doing uses Bravo Burgundy,  Brushed Gold and Shimmery White card stock.  Coordinating ink used is Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter.  I used the Big Shot Die-Cut machine to cut the Top Note and used the Snow Swirled stamp set for the images.  I also used gold brads and the horizontal slot punch and added gold ribbon to decorate the card.

See you tomorrow!

Tis the Season...

Can you believe that there is only 66 DAYS till Christmas???  I can't believe it!  I had some left over Designer Paper Scraps while preparing for a class, so I made this card. I like how it turned out.  It reminds me a bit of Scrapbook Guru; Ali Edwards style how she likes to use square punches.
